I really don't get why threads get banned and closed around here.

It's anti-free market and anti-free speech.

If a thread is strong enough to go 1000 pages why not let it ride?

I understand the need for moderators but why do we have thread dictators?

Can anyone explain the rationale for suspending and ending successful threads???

As for free speech, this is a privately owned website. "rights" don't come into play here.

That said, I don't give a shit what one's point of view is, you can offer any point of view you want. We only have issues with how it's ARTICULATED. And in the H&E thread, it was poorly towards the end and not becoming of the true spirit of PE.
