An announcement for an announcement?
I'm guessing Glass Hammer will headline, with Steve Hackett opening.
Will there be TV coverage?

I blame Wynton, what was the question?
There are only 10 types of people in the World, those who understand binary and those that don't.
Contracts are all signed. There will be 24 bands. Lineup announcement will be made later this week.
24 bands , and it's prog festival? This must be several days long.
Hopefully it's a big bus festival, 5 days of prog while touring Chicago in a great big prog bus.
When?????????????
What day is Willie Nelson headlining?
Cool. Let's hope the pre-hype is worth the actual announcement hype.

WANTED: Sig-worthy quote.
tough crowd!
I think we're all thinking of a certain festival that was cancelled first time around.
Let's not forget that PROGNIGHT (the first fest Kevin organized in Chicago, with a little help from yours truly) with District 97, Three Friends and Neal Morse was a big success. I don't know the full extent of what Kevin has up his sleeve here, but I think it could be really good.

24 bands is a big step up! Who could they be??
neil
Would this be Ethelfest?
I heard something was coming while at ROSfest. Just hope it's not near a holiday where I have no chance of going. Chi-town is great when there isn't two feet of snow (or more) on the ground.
So far this thread is nothing but a tease. ;-)
Who says prog is dead?
Hmmm....wonder who is doing the coffee in the green room for the artists and crew.....
How about at least giving us some dates, or the month, or even the season...
The dates of the festival are October 25th and 26th
It is called Progtoberfest. Lineup will be announced by the end of the week. We have some AMAZING bands lined up!!
It better be amazing....I might be eating Belew tickets for this....
