It's not "prog" but it's very progressive...

Cobra handling and cocaine use are a bad mix.

They had to get a new one because the fourth member of that configuration, Roger Powell, does not get along with Todd these days.
Sorry for the late reply, but I was revisiting the thread and must have missed this page the first time.
It was Ralph Schuckett, the Utopia keyboard player who preceded Roger Powell, who was originally in the line-up for the 2018 gigs, but he pulled out at short notice for health reasons. He died in 2021.
As far as I know there hasn't been a falling-out between Powell and Rundgren, but maybe you know more. I heard Powell had problems with his hands that prevented him from playing as well as he used to during the Utopia reunion of 2009 (Prairie Prince on drums), but maybe there's more to him not being involved in 2018 than that.
(I remember Rundgren and Wilcox allegedly falling out a long time ago (supposedly over a writing credit), but presumably they made up as Wilcox was in the last Utopia live tour.)

Love the near-Oktoberfest outfits and Manouche arrangements.

Thee guys could be Hayseed Dixie too

my music collection increased tenfolds when I switched from drug-addicts to complete nutcases.

The Heimatdamisch are one of my current favorite bands. Their "Sweet Child o' Mine" is killer also.

Playing that opening riff on trumpet is effing brilliant.

Conny Kreitmeier (lead singer) is also pretty great on these covers, which are sort of schlager-metal.

Rammstein's "Mein Teil", at 13:05, and "Ein Bisschen Frieden" at 36:02
