    The following was posted on his facebook page by Harald Grosskopf on the 30th March 2014:

    Another friend passed away too early.
    MICHAEL "FAME" GUENTHER, bass player of AGITATION FREE
    He was found dead yesterday.

    Very sad day... RIP!

    Sorry to hear it. They were one of the *truly* great bands from the European mainland in the 70s, and among the 10-or-so sacred Kraut groups - IMHO.

    Wow, totally missed this thread! Just a few days ago I spun Malesch, and was also reading a printout of an email Gunther sent to Peter Renfro when the band donated a ProgDay charity auction item that I won. A very interesting note.
