So is Riverside officially the Saturday headliner, I thought they were going to be in the 3 spot.

Please don't forget that ProgNight 2013 will be happening in either September or October. I am also working on getting more Prog acts at The Arcada Theatre as well.

Not exactly a festival, but the ISILDURS BANE EXPO 2012 (next month) is a huge conglomeration of talent. Besides the entire IB band, there will be guests joining them including:

Phil Manzanera, Pat Mostellotto, Guy Pratt, Liesbeth Lambrecht and Iris Thiessen (both from Aranis), Katrine Amsler, Klas Assarsson, Luca Calabrese, Axel Croné, Samuel Hällkvist, Mats Johansson, Christian Saggese and Kjell Severinsson.

I've been keeping a Prog Fest Calendar for a number of years now. Nobody reads it, but the link is always in my signature here. I have several 2013 events up already, but there's a lot more coming!

You are not treading on my toes at all, Ian. Lots of websites list prog festivals. I just put together something simple and quick in calendar form. I thought it would be easy if people could base their vacations around fests if they could see them on a calendar.

testing what? I would say the actual calendar is much more useful in finding out about upcoming festivals. This kind of thread will just grow to numerous pages which will eventually have outdated posts, incomplete posts (meaning posts with lots of TBA's etc) and lead to a lot of misleading information. The Prog Mel keeps is good...it's not littered with birthday posts either.

Yes. I start getting excited about the next ProgDay the day after one has ended. It won't be long before I'll be checking the website several times a day even though nothing gets posted for month after month. I'm really quite mental about it.

I need exact dates, of course, before I put anything on the Prog Fest calendar, and also a website for people to go to for information.

I would love to go to Prog Day, too, one of these years. Right now, I'm probably not going to any fest in 2013, but that depends on where I'll be living and working next year.

By the way, Ian, I love your updating what bands are playing at these fests. Baja is one of the big ones, and I'm excited to its return!
