Esoteric Autumn schedule and tour dates

    Hi guys

Well the year is speeding on and here we are announcing Autumn releases

Julys are all out with the exception of Lord Sutch and Heavy Friends which is on a couple of weeks delay. Quatermass 5.1 had been delayed from June for a technical reason, but is now in stock and out at the distributors.

    August releases as follows
    Gordon Giltrap-Live in Oxford
(we released his 3 studio albums Visionary, perilous Journey and Fear of the Dark in July)
    Climax Blues Band-Stamp Album
    Climax Blues Band-Sense of Direction
    Climax Blues Band-Gold Plated
Robert Calvert-Lucky lief and the Longships (this is the same as the Eclectic edition for those that have it, although the mastering was looked at again and credits changed obviously)

    September
    spirogyra-Bells Boots and Shambles
    Spirogyra-Old Boot Wine
    Spirogyra-St radigunds
(spirogyra are acid folk with a Canterbury twist)
    Wild Turkey-Wild Turkey
    Wild Turkey-Battle Hymn

Hapshash and the Coloured Coat-Featuring the Human Host and Heavy metal
Hapshash and the Coloured Coat-Western Flyer
Oliver Wakeman and Steve Howe-3 Ages of Magick.

    October
Not fully scheduled so will announce in a couple of weeks--- but 2 definite new studio albums(and excellent ones too)

John Lees Barclay James Harvest--North (first new album in 13 years) all new material
    Solstice--Prophecy

We also have several new albums scheduled in for early next year including a new album with Peter Hammill and Gary Lucas!! in february 2014. Having heard this, I think you are going to really like this combination of 2 great artists.

We also have a new album with the terrific "guitar looper" Matt Stevens in feb 2014 entitled "Lucid" --Matt is one great talent and a lovely chap to boot --if you dont know him, get on over to his facebook-hes a prolific chatter on the industry in general and very well liked in the Prog community.

and of course we have a new studio album by the great man himself Jack Bruce in March 2014.

Also mentioning an album that is not on Esoteric but may well be of interest to prog fans from one of Cherry Reds affiliate labels is Darryl Ways "Ultra Violins" -- the first new solo album for 20 years from the much loved Curved Air member.

    On tour
John Lees Barclay James Harvest--to support their album North, dates in the UK in November 2013. Dates and ticket links can all be found at www.barclayjamesharvest.com

Sanguine Hum will be supporting the terrific Swedish prog band "Moon Safari" at the Peel in Kingston On Thames on September 13th

Solstice will be launching their album Prophecy at the Borderline in London on 29th october with Matt Stevens in support

Gary Lucas is playing a number of dates world wide and has a new book out too detailing his time working with Jeff Buckley.

see link for book and tour details in Europe

    Vicky

Oooh, the Spirogyra should be nice releases. What's that song I adore by them? Parallel Lines Never Separate. When it mellows and Barbara comes in, that is SO haunting!!! Love that (from Bells, Boots and Shambles)

Is the Oliver Wakeman and Steve Howe something new? I didn't know they had an album together, and I try to keep up on all Steve's music.

It is a reissue from an original release from 2001: http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=10255
