WOW. Completely unexpected, and 100% AUTOBUY. Excellent news!

Edit: AND a new Parmenter solo album in the works? Also excellent news!! Overload.

Wasn't it more like 12? But hey, who's counting, this is great news. And even if they are not faster this time, I'm sure we'll have a lot of other new prog to listen to until 2025!

Didn't Discipline release TWO album before they went on hiatus? So, maybe they'll take another break after this one. I love their first two releases. Got them both on Amazon. Haven't got To Shatter All Accord yet.

    Great to hear.

Does it matter that this waste of time is what makes a life for you?

Wow, great news! Not many bands can go more than 10 years between albums and still create something great, and they did just that, without losing their identity and without being a clone of themselves. And since they are on a roll, might as well record again. Auto-buy.

At this time there is no band's new music I would anticipate more. Totally unexpected news but it is the definition of autobuy.

I also like that they may be releasing some of their really early stuff on CD as well. Some of those early cassette only releases contained some great songs which have never properly been released.

I'll see if Matthew is still here in Quebec. I'll get what I can out of him if he is. He played yesterday with Phideaux. Awesome as usual.

Matt Kennedy is one of the most down to earth, sincerely nice people I've ever met in the prog scene. If you find him, tell him the Geezer said this album needs to be released before I check out, so 10 years is not acceptable!

Wonderful news. Hopefully they can release the new cd by next spring just in time to headline Rosfest 2014. Hint hint.

I will be all over this one when it comes out. Discipline while not really prolific are one the best prog bands ever from the USA, in my opinion.

Excellent news. Been listening to ULS a lot lately as well as their latest.

VERY excited to know of this! Such a great band.

Can't wait here either! I got the chance to meet them at RoSfest last year and basically fan-boyed all over them...

But I don't see mention of new MP solo material, where is that mentioned?

    Bottom of the page:

"Other projects in the works include a reissue of Discipline recordings from the 1980s and a new Matthew Parmenter solo CD.

"Other news: Parmenter’s Eyeballs story is now reprinted on the website. This short was originally written when MP studied creative writing at Oberlin College. It was later published as part of the liner notes for Discipline’s Into the Dream live CD. View the Eyeballs story…"

I only have Unfolded Like Staircase which I really liked at the time, but it didn't get many repeated listens after the first couple of years. What's their best?
