I noticed that Laser's Edge has some low priced Dixie Dregs CDs - is a boxed set or remastered CDs planned or something? Just wondering if there was something like that causing these to be sold off inexpensively.

Nice find. Have at it. Still listening on vinyl to these. I hope loads of them get sold.
My sense is that the major labels or some distributor who has a glut of these CDs pressed is just selling them for whatever they can get for them at this point. There are lots of artists included in those $5 fire sales. I recently picked up a bunch of Santana, Little Feat, and a few others at $4 - $5 a pop from Wayside (I believe). Wishbone Ash, Wakeman, Jefferson Airplane, Traffic, Aerosmith, and many others are in the same category. I think it's just a fire sale to liquidate merchandise that just isn't moving anymore.

Love the Dregs music. Even the last one Full Circle isn't a bad album although not as good as the others. It's my impression that companies are liquidating music CD's because we keep hearing about the demise of the CD format. I know that started happening when vinyl was being fazed out. I found a lot of great cheap vinyl before it disappeared.
