New Flame Dream album, "Silent Transition"

There's a new Flame Dream album coming out in about a week.

    https://www.discogs.com/release/3058...ent-Transition

Six tracks ranging from 6 to 15 minutes.

Four original members (Urs Hochuli, Pit Furrer, Roland Ruckstuhl, Peter Wolf) and a guy named Alex Hutchings who played with the Steven Wilson band. Sadly no Dale Hauskins.

I have no idea if it's any good but the Facebook page hype reads:

"After almost 40 years, the miracle I thought impossible, comes true.
The Lucerne band FLAME DREAM releases a new album "Silent Transition" it will be available in May 2024.
The vinyl version when it will be available this summer 2024
Since the end of 2020, I have been working with the members of FLAME DREAM, mainly with Peter Wolf.
I have been listening to this album since maintaining mid January 2024 and I must say that the result is extraordinary. We let ourselves be enchanted from the first note. The 6 songs that make up this album have a musical duration that varies between 7 minutes and 15 minutes.
The most difficult thing is not being able to talk about it to preserve the state of surprise once the work is done.
    the original line-up:
    Pit Furrer - drums, percussion
    Urs Hochuli - bass, design
Roland Ruckstuhl - piano, organ, keyboards, percussion
Peter Wolf - voice, flute, saxophones
Alex Hutchings - 6 string nylon, 12 string, electric guitars"

Maybe there is some hope for non-Tachika reissues as well?

Also from the FB page (in a comment): "The classic 3 progressive albums ELEMENTS, OUT IN THE DARK and SUPERVISION are due for re-release step by step at a later stage. More information will be available when ready on www.flamedreammusic.com. Thank you for your understanding and patience"

I would say the classic albums are Elements and Calatea, but where Calatea was on Philips and the three mentioned above were on Vertigo, that probably explains it.

Glad you brought this one up, Sean. I saw it come across my Discogs feed. At first I figured it would just be a pop album. But after seeing the track lengths and song titles, it certainly seems to indicate a progressive rock album.

Good news about the reissues too!
