Well I'm not gonna bite even if the set looks pretty cool. I have the CD/DVD of the MSG show and the few extra tracks on Bursting Out proper don't make this a winning proposition for me. If they issue a stand-alone 2CD of the remixed BO at < $25 I might be enticed.

It seems there was a real opportunity here to release a few additional full shows (apparently several were recorded for potential inclusion in BO). That I would have shelled out the $60 for...

I'm a big Tull fan but by what's on it, even if the Wilson mixes that are good to have and the book, I will likely pass on it. I have the remastered album on CD and the CD/DVD concert at MSG/NYC and this package is a consolidation of both in one. However, it can wait until year's end to see how the pricing holds ;-)

Is it going to say "Busting Out" on the spine for old time's sake, for us vinyl nerds? 😎

Sure, if it's a Pure Prairie League album.

OK, so I wasn't mis-remembering that. I was too lazy to check, now I don't have to.

I doubt the interest is out there nearly as much as the 70s albums, but I'd love for the series to continue as far as it can. I can certainly see at least Crest of a Knave getting a box set and/or possibly even a remixed Under Wraps, but beyond that, I'd be surprised if anything else was planned.

This is really exciting. I bought a copy off Amazon. Ca for $106 ⁶Canadian but know release date that usually means 2 months late but it's free shipping.
What can this strange device be? When I touch it, it brings forth a sound (2112)

Are you kidding me, what's to think about? One of the best live albums ever and with Wilson's mix?! It is a must, preordered

I'm one of the rare fans of Catfish Rising, and I'd welcome a reissue in this format, with one or more live performances from the time (this tour was my first time seeing Tull, and I proceeded to see them a lot.) But I'd be very surprised to see this series extend that far. But you never know...

Was Stand Up ever released with the same design as the others? The version I have is the deluxe which has the Carnegie Hall concert. I also have the Wilson remix . ..but I've never seen it with the book .

I have A Passion Play with Chateau and Minstrel . I completely missed out on Warchild.

Really tedious as he shows off each disc and pages through the entire book.

The thought actually occurred to me that I could take screenshots of the video (or just watch it with hefty helpings of Pause) and read the entire contents of the book (which appears of sufficient interest to make the effort worthwhile) without purchasing the package. Even with my increasingly bad eyes I can read the text well enough.

That's all he ever brings to the table with these 'unboxing' videos. The item shows up in his mailbox, he immediately films himself showing it to the camera ('Oohhhhh, so THAT'S what a CD looks like!') and in no way reviews the contents because he hasn't even listened to it yet. But he has to be 'first' every time. He then splashes it all over social media with captions such as 'Excellent review', as though he's not sharing his own video. Duplicitous and phony IMO. He does the same thing with the vinyl editions, despite not owning a turntable. He then 'auctions' those off for pure profit, in direct violation of the label's wishes. There's no way in hell that this guy should be sent anything, but the labels probably just see his subscriber numbers and think it's good exposure.

BTW he then asks for donations (of course) and provides his Amazon wishlist for people to buy him things. But hey, people seem to like it, so by all means, keep watching as someone reads every song title off the back cover. He's like the human version of the official press release.

Yes, well, you could also just watch porn instead of experiencing the real thing too!

He could print out the screenshots, spread them out, and roll around on them in the altogether.
