    Just checked that myself. Yes, on Welcome Back, the first section of KE9 1st is in the lower key F but after "fight tomorrow" the key moves up to A flat like the studio version and stays there for the "welcome back my friends" song.

    ^This is correct.

    I think the instrumental 2nd impression was in the studio key but I don't recall.

    The 3rd impression was entirely downtuned, from memory.

    I can totally see that. Similar to playing string instruments in alternate tunings, you can really mess with 'yer brain 🧠.
