Jethro Tull- Stormwatch (SW 5.1 mix)
Vangelis- Antarctica
+1 for Antarctica, also:
Johannes Schmoelling: White Out
Bjork: Vespertine
Not albums but individual songs:
Jethro Tull - Fire at Midnight
White Willow - Snowswept and several from Ignis Fatuus
Strawbs - Autumn (really seems to be about winter, at least to me)
And not prog but a beautiful song
Sarah McLachlan - Song for a Winter's Night
Everything released by Thule, especially the first two: Ultimo Thule and Natt
Not an album but it's wintertime & one of my favorite Doors' songs.
Jon Anderson - Three Ships
Jethro Tull - Christmas Album

50 Words For Snow - Kate Bush

Uzva - Tammela in January
...and Then There Were Three has always had a "wintery" sound to me.
Cobra handling and cocaine use are a bad mix.
Confirmed Bachelors: the dramedy hit of 1883...
Ever since I moved away from birthplace in sunny southern California to places with long cold snowy winters, Klaus Schulze's Mirage has been a winter listening favorite. Progressive electornic at its finest.

For some reason I've always felt that Relayer had a wintry vibe. Maybe it was the time of year I first heard it (winter 1974/75), maybe the shades-of-white cover art, or maybe it's just the "crispness" of the original production...

Happy with what I have to be happy with.
I tend to play all of my favourite albums over the winter when it's pretty awful outside.
These ones in particular have a wintry vibe for me, or sometimes just because I remember getting them during winter:
Genesis: Wind & Wuthering + And Then There Were Three
Yes: Relayer + Topo Oceans + Yesshows
Jon Anderson: Song Of Seven + Olias
Solstice: New Life
Steve Hackett: Voyage of The Acolyte
Rush: Hemispheres
UK: Debut + Danger Money
Steven Wilson: The Raven
Queen: A Night At The Opera + News Of The World
Black Sabbath: Mob Rules
The Residents-Eskimo
Camel--The Snow Goose
Oregon--Winter Light
White Willow--Storm Season
Wobbler--Hinterlands
Anglagard--Hybris
Tomita--Snowflakes Are Dancing
Mike Oldfield's Ommadawn otherwise I drift towards Tull and folk rockers.
I forgot one: Mike Oldfield - Incantations
Tiger Moth Tales - The Depths Of Winter
Heather Findlay Band - I Am Snow
How about Art Bears - Winter Songs?
What we feel we have to solve is why the dregs have not dissolved.
