New Song: The Silence of the Distance

The Silence of the Distance was recorded and mixed using a Tascam 24SD MultiTrack Digital Portastudio.
Following my Angel Trilogy, I needed a break from creating music, and time away from using my computer to do so.
As I began feeling the urge to write again, I decided to unbox my stored Tascam 24SD to just experiment and have fun.
There is quite a learning curve, and I'm still a noobie using it, but through it's limitations and mistakes, and lost audio I finally finished it.
The final stereo track was done by running analog audio cables out to WavePad to just record and trim the final mix as I did so in real time....yes! moving faders in realtime like a madman. lol

Mix 1 part old hippie, 1 part cosmic travel, 1 part Patchouli incense and 1 part Indian Sitar and finish off with a Didgeridoo...you give birth to a song titled The Silence of the Distance. Recorded entirely on a Tascam 24 track Digital Portastudio, no computer used. Facing limitations of the medium and lack of knowledge on how to use the equipment, we foraged through, and what we got is what we have. Love and Peace to all...Richard

Thanks John, I always appreciate when you comment on one of my songs.
Been taking a break from the chitter chatter here as well, but hope folks don't my taking the key from under the front doormat and crashing the party. lol

Very peaceful. I like it quite a bit.
Cobra handling and cocaine use are a bad mix.

Thanks so much for taking time to listen/watch the video. I appreciate it a lot.
I find it peaceful as well, and in these times, I think we all could use a peaceful timeout.
