Hélène Vogelsinger is a French electronic music producer and composer. After 10 years of varied musical experiences, she trained in film music orchestration and video game sound design at Berklee College of Music. At the same time, she uses the modular synthesizer, an instrument that allows her, with its infinite possibilities, to have an electronic orchestra at her fingertips, and to also compose it. A sound explorer, her music is described as intense and hypnotic. It immerses us in an ocean of sounds that leads us to an altered state of
consciousness. A timeless music at the crossroads of minimalism, ambience and orchestral. Her work links the past and the present; the memory of abandoned places and the energy they release were the sources of inspiration for her 2 albums “Contemplation” and “Reminiscence”. She divides her time between composition for the image, creation of audiovisual content and research of new sound experiences."

Evocative stuff. Which almost straight away led to me looking up Suzanne Ciani's Bandcamp pages.
We really are blessed to be living in a unique age of Electronic music. I intend to enjoy this for what it is while I still can . The only problem that I see is the inroads that AI is making .

It's been said here recently but bears repeating. How long will it be before the machines are churning out their issue straight into the Spotify chart. How long before we can't tell what is Machine Issue and even then Should it really matter. Oooooooo.?

There was a short bit of sidebar chat about this in the Synth Porn thread (in unrelated news for those who don't go exploring on PE, there's a Synth Porn thread). For things like Spotify where (IMHO) it's a competitive model that rewards frequent plays, AI could be an interesting player. For those of us who stick to less competitive models like Bandcamp...it's a non issue IMHO.

One area where I think AI will probably change the landscape dramatically is library music.

According to Andy Votel the backlog in Vinyl pressing just gets worse every day due to the mainstream Market ie the supermarkets .

This is what's making the Lathe cut route so cost prohibitive. So so many folks wanting to cut a track or an album .
It's a shame for sure that significant works are getting released every day on digital only. Hey . a cassette is still a funky object, though not a 12" or 7 inch disk for sure.
