There is a weekly injection that is designed for combined weight loss... its active ingredient is called SEMAGLUTIDE. Talk to your doctor about it. It worked miracles with my type 2. Just this and my daily dose of Metformin did the trick for me. PM if in need of more info.

Agreed. And in most East coast and Atlantic Canadian provinces we pay 15% TAX (factored in) and not to say $8.00 Beers! But yeah, all the Arena shows have higher priced merch, in comparison I noticed at the Marillion weekend shows where almost every item was lower priced at that theater venue but the caveat was that it was CASH only so the ATM fee is waived for the artist and relays the inconvenience to the buying public where a strategically placed non-bank ATM is in the lobby that charges an extra fee. So the fans will get hit either way, so that is why the bootleggers will stay in business.
Thank for that breakdown, you sure know your numbers!
Back in the early 80's, I was living in Huntington Beach with 2 girls and went with them and a bunch of their friends to see the Psychedelic Furs play at Magic Mountain (a theme park located 40 miles away). It was a warm day when we left HB, but I did not have any idea that it would be raining at Magic Mountain and none of us brought jackets.
With it cold and rainy at Magic Mountain, I was faced with having to buy some additional clothing there, most of the people bought Magic Mountain sweatshirts, while I opted by buy a Psychedelic Furs Sweatshirt, which was more expensive but WAY MORE cool...!
Brought it home and washed/dried it and it shrunk, so much so that it no longer fit, but since it had the cover of there second album on the front and it was in such good condition, it went to the bottom of my clothing drawer, for the next 39 years (or so)...
When I sold my records off last year, I sold my P. Furs shirt (still in near mint condition) to the Record Shop that bought them for $85...! I can't recall what I paid for it, but it was probably around $15... So glad, I never threw it away...
I sold a bunch of shirts that I could no longer fit into for something like $600. They went gaga when I brought them in.
Primus only had three shirts available but it was the last show of the tour so I'm assuming that's just how it works. I did by two even though I should have saved money and just bought the Rocinante shirt.

I seem to be in a minority about this but I actually like band shirts more when they just have a band logo and a relatively simple design. I do like supporting the band but wearing a tour itinerary seems kind of tacky to me. If I know I bought it at the show then it counts as a souvenir.

I am the exact opposite. A tour shirt is proof that I was there. It is like Dive Bar shirts that they sell on the internet all the time. What is the point of owning a dive bar T-shirt if you never actually drank at the dive bar? I hardly ever buy generic band t-shirts, but almost always buy tour shirts if I saw the show. Of course, there is no right or wrong answer to this question it is whatever people like.
^ Same here, Steve. Tour dates aren't a "must," but they're close.
Tuesday night I saw the power metal bands Sabaton and Epica. Now these guys know how to do merch. Sabaton had a selection of at least a dozen different shirts in all sizes. They also had all kinds of swag like patches, posters, hats, and a bunch of other stuff. Opening act Epica also had a nice merch stand with about six different shirts to choose from and assorted other swag. Both merch stands were doing a hefty business all night, and things were selling like hotcakes. Metal in general seems to do better with the whole merch game. I bought a shirt from each band.
On the other side of the coin, I saw the band Southern Culture On The Skids Monday night. They had a merch stand, but it was pretty sparce. They did have a shirt they were selling, but it was not a tour shirt and had their logo in exceedingly small print in an astronaut’s space helmet. I did not buy one. They did have a poster that had been designed for the tour and a few people were buying those, but overall, the merch stand did not appear to be doing much business.
