Sorry for another dose of shameless self promo, but I have recently released what I think may be my favorite album I've ever released, and I'm excited to share it. The group is called the Green Swamp Collective, and the new album comprises 12 original songs written by me. I also played guitar, bass, and a little bit of keys, and sang a little lead and a bunch of harmony. I enlisted my good friend and Farpoint's drummer Rick Walker to play drums, and rounded out the instrumental parts with some violin by the very talented Matthew Eldridge (who also happens to be guitarist/vocalist in a heavy metal band called Glamdring). Then I brought in several lead and backup singers to match each individual song, hence the use of "collective" in the name. However we have now solidified into a consistent lineup and are polishing up a live set and hope to be out playing by the end of the summer.
So anyway, here are a few links where anyone so inclined may check out the music. I know it's not prog, but it's folk with, I believe, an artsy twist, and I feel like some of you here may enjoy that. Thanks in advance to anyone who listens.
