Tiger Moth Tales - Song Of Spring

Has anyone picked this one up yet? Another fantastic album by Pete Jones. This guy can do it all!

I'm particularly loving "Mad March Hare". It's chorus has a very Genesis/proggy sound that I love.

Highly recommend checking this out. I think it's on Bandcamp as well!

I've only sampled it thus far, it's very Big Big Train sounding, isn't it?

Interesting song. I wouldn't say that it, even the chorus "sounds like" Genesis, but the influence is really obvious.

My, his head looks small though!

Listened to it this morning - excellent! Yodathedog, do you have the CD? If so, where’d you order from and are you in the US? I preordered early on from White Knight, don’t have the CD yet.

Pete's Genesis cover stuff is really great too.

Excellent album, perhaps the best yet from Peter. I love this guy.

Here's an album review, which includes the interview with Peter that was just posted above:

The Depths of Winter first and then Cocoon. Storytellers albums aren't so much up my alley. I also love his cover albums of Genesis!

I agree with Scott that next you should go for The Depths of Winter.

Also, check out this video, which I think everyone should see:

    Why sobering?

Depths of Winter has some really good stuff on it but for me the drums are a put-off as they sound very computerised.
