Looking forward to my day in court.
I loved these guys. Sorry I never got to see them play live. Still grinds my gears a little when people think "Mama Weer All Crazee Now" and "Cum On Feel The Noize" are Quiet Riot songs. Of course I'm sure Holder and Lea had no problem with it. And I also attribute at least a part of my hearing issues to Slade.
I never got to see them live, either. In 1974, they played the Loew's Ocean State Theater in Providence and I lived within walking distance. Why I didn't go I have no idea as I was a Slade fan. I read a review of the show the next day. Only about 600 people were there in that old vaudeville/movie theater. Noddy Holder got arrested at the show because he asked the audience what all the fuss was about streaking (it was the big thing on college campuses at the time) and some naked guy comes running up to and across the stage. The report says he was arrested for inciting lewd behavior.
The Sweet - The Best of Sweet
I'm on a glam trajectory.
