    Petition to re-instate Jon Anderson!

Please sign so the band gets the message.
This was removed from the YesFans board, which I guess I understand...nothing against the new guy, but it's just not Yes without Anderson!

    GET THE F**K OVER IT!

Some of you Yes fanatics may as well have been in Guyana with the Rev. Jim Jones!

If you don't like the band as is, STOP LISTENING!!

    Who is Jon Anderson?

I'm with Geezer on this. What fucking nonsense.

Jon's ready to roll and has made it clear he wants back in.
This is a matter of immense importance than can only be rectified by a good old fashioned petition!

Anderson says he’s made overtures about joining the Yes fold again, since getting his health back. His only condition, Anderson says, was that classic-era keyboardist Rick Wakeman return as well. Bassist Chris Squire and guitarist Steve Howe, Anderson adds, weren’t interested.

“Chris and Steve like to have control of things. That’s what they want to do,” Anderson says. “I’ve said two or three times, I’d love to get back together — as long as Rick is back in the band. They don’t seem to be hearing that, at the moment. Maybe, one day it will happen. We’ll see.”

It NOT his only condition. And it's been discussed to death. Anderson, as far as I know, and that's also true of Wakeman, is still unwilling to commit to the kind of touring schedule that the other members have undertaken since his departure. Both Anderson and Wakeman have repeatedly said that they would only return for one-off "special" concerts, or a series thereof. The current Yes, on the other hand, want to keep doing long tours. I'm sure this was the basis on which they turned down Anderson's offer(s) to return to the fold.

The fact that that petition originated on the YesFans board tells me there probably isn't the same level of "Yes Is What It Is" outlook as seems to be prevalent here. That said, I doubt any petition would work. (unless it got at least half a million names all promising to buy tickets for the next Yes cruise)

The real question is, who's going to replace Squire when he goes belly up?

I'm with Geezer on this one

That's pretty much what I've done, STOPPED LISTENING! I'm sure it means nothing to the band that I don't care for them anymore or anyone here, but it means something to me who was a YES fan for almost 40 years.

    I just read the petition...

"By continuing to tour as "YES" with other lead singers, the band is misleading its fan base and tarnishing their legacy."

WTF?? Seriously people? Just when I thought this couldn't get any more fucked up...

Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?

Where's the petition to make sure Anderson never re-joins Yes again?
