With a unique, recognizable sound that reveals new harmonies and takes adventurous rhythmic paths, Aka Moon is one of the most remarkable groups on the Belgian jazz scene.
For their critically acclaimed latest album Opus 111, the legendary trio joins forces with Congolese singer Fredy Massamba, old companion Fabian Fiorini on piano and Portuguese rising star, accordionist Joćo Barradas. Together, the group liberates Beethovens mythical sonata from its classical constraints and immerse it in jazz.
On December 15th 2020, the band was welcomed by BOZAR for a unique live-streamed concert from the Henry Le Boeuf Great Hall, offering a special musical closure on a tumultuous year.
