Yeah, what a labour of love! Much respect to Noah Shulman for the work put in to this little piece of joy!

Do we know who played most of the track? A lot of solo bits are of course plugged in, but it seems like the bass, drums and main keys are pretty consistent throughout. The keys certainly sound like Kerry.

Wow. I have faith in humanity after seeing that....Well, at least for 7 minutes.

HAIL! to Gentle Giant! Looks like they put a enormous effort into this. I too would have liked to have mostly GG playing on the video but what the hell, it was really nice to see and especially hear. AS HUGE THANK YOU to all involved.

Looks like she's part of Bulgarian band called Simurgia.

Good to see Dan Bornemark passing on his fandom to his daughters(?).

    Well, why be one, then??

I know where you're getting at (and can sort of agree to a point), but in the sanitary crisis context, let's just take it as a treat.

What I am disappointed at is the fade-out ending.... I've seen other production where each of the partyicipant exit at their turn, leaving just one to finish.

For those hoping for a GG reunion, it was not going to happen. This is a GG FAN video and always was. Derek's son Noah put this together and did a great job. The fact that it was made with Shulman backing, gave it a bit more credibility and authenticity than previous fan involved ventures. I loved it!

They are all over 70, Phil is 83 I think. I don't think you could expect much from them anymore.

I enjoyed the "Proclamation" fan video. So very glad I got to see Gentle Giant back in the day. Great band.

Maybe it's already been suggested but is he completely retired now? Still working with Golden Robot Records?

When he looks back on the 70s, and his time in Gentle Giant, what are his thoughts and feelings regarding his time in the band? How does he view that endeavor from this much later vantage point?

How did widespread commercial success never happend when GG were one of the most talented band in the world?
What can this strange device be? When I touch it, it brings forth a sound (2112)

    Frankie's questions:

    1) Which specific classical composers influenced him (and/or the entire band) when they were composing for the band back in the day? (and I will be personally shocked if J.S. Bach isn't at least mentioned since at the heart of GG's sound was counterpoint or contrapuntal composing, not to mention the overtly baroque/renaissance sound at times).

    2) On a personal level, what are some of his favorite prog bands from either the old days or more currently, or does he not have a lot of time to listen for pleasure in his business?

    3) What are his thoughts on the resurgence of vinyl, and does he have a nifty hi-end hi-fi audio system in the casa de la Shulman?

    Great video ,
Touching , the way GG deals with it's own history and its fan base is perfect IMO.
Just ordered a 3 Friends vinyl. Hope that Glasshouse gets a vinyl re-release.

That was really great and cool to everyone. It was missing one Shulman brother though?

Am I correct that in this scene we have :
top row - l/r : Gary, Derek, Phil
bottom row - l/r: Ray, Malcolm (?), John, Kerry
