The first single reminds me of XTC, specifically Colin Moulding's style.

As much as I love it, and I do, I think the album he and Williams did is better. It hits me perfect, right where I live.
Good news! I haven’t listened to it—I’m likely to go into the album blind—but I love Moulding’s tunes. I spun Nonsuch a few times this weekend and was again struck by just how strong “My Bird” and “Smartest Monkeys” are. (“War Dance” is just all right.)
Hmmm. I think I might make a Moulding playlist and spin the live album he and Chambers put out a few years back.
I want to dynamite your mind with love tonight.
Looking forward to this album!
I was a bit sad to read about his 'descent into psychosis' . I really hope he is doing ok now. Covid has been hard on a lot of people but a nightmare for artists.
New album has arrived. Looking forward to digging in.

Listened to it today for the second time, think it's a grower.

I blame Wynton, what was the question?
There are only 10 types of people in the World, those who understand binary and those that don't.
I'm one of the 212.
Kavus has been MIA around here for a while now. Just busy?
Kavus seems exceptionally busy, he has Gong, Utopia Strong, Miranda Sex Garden and a solo career afloat right now, and jolly good luck to him. I am still waiting for the new album to hit the doormat but I’ve played it a few times on download from Bandcamp and it’s excellent.
