Bump.
Very interesting documentary on CNN tonight interviewing the Covid doctors.
"The White Zone is for loading and unloading only. If you got to load or unload go to the White Zone!"
Got my second Pfizer shot today! Feeling fine so far. And I'm not in my 60s, thank you very much. It's just that my legs are weak and my eyes are old and bent!
Fully vaccinated (Pfizer-Biontech) Sofie became infected with coronavirus
It took a month and a half from the time 22-year-old Sofie Amalie Kaae was vaccinated against covid-19 until she became infected with the virus and had to be isolated in a former nursing home.

Second shot last Friday, no reaction this time. I had a headache and tired with first one.
As I recall it was always indicated that vaccination would not protect you 100% against catching COVID. It reduces the chances to get it and reduces the chances to have severe symptoms. Also it may make you an asymptotic carrier, thus the need to continue using masks

"Normal is just the average of extremes" - Gary Lessor
I got Moderna-ed, aside from the first shot stinging for a minute or two I was lucky, I had nothing going on thru both shots. I'd heard the older you are the less likely you'd get a reaction (I'm 67), the younger folks have stronger immune systems so they should usually get a stronger reaction, makes sense I suppose.

Me: Shaking my head and wondering whether it's safe for my 55-yr-old body.
Not that it matters because it looks like I'm still months away from needing to worry about whose serum goes in my arm and by then I'm sure the rules will have changed several times over.
I can only speak for the state I live in, but there is really no oversite here in terms of who is eligible. Sure, there is a list of people and professions that are, but no place checks anything (other than age I suppose when they look at your drivers license). So it's very easy to get around these things. Which, initially I was slightly miffed by, but with how gung ho we are about reopening society immediately, I can't blame anyone for line jumping to protect themselves and their loved ones.
We also don't have a surplus of vaccines in my state, not that I saying these two things are connected.
Please don't ask questions, just use google.
