At this point, I'll believe it when I see an official announcement from the band. Been burned too many times in the past.

But if true, I'm definitely going to make it to one of those shows. Not sure I'll ever get another opportunity to see those guys.

True but I don't think it's ever looked so close to legit. There are consistent rumours coming from different sources it seems. So unless it's a very elaborately orchestrated hoax, it looks like something's really happening. The official announcement is supposed to be tomorrow so we'll know soon enough.

For some reason I rather hope against hope it's not true. I can't see this being half as good as the 2007 tour. Even on that tour they were far from being at the top of their game but still they went on a high. I hope this reunion doesn't leave a sad impression like PC's recent tour. I would love to be proven wrong though, the 2007 tour far exceeded the expectations I had at the time.

This is the 'massive band is reuniting' announcement from Radio 2, pretty much confirmation really.

With the recent Mojo TLLDOB rumour, you don't think the live shows...NAH, they wouldn't.

I'd rather have a nice new studio record of original material if I had to choose between the two, but some live shows will be interesting to see what they decide to play, assuming it's the 80's Trio with no involvement by Hackett or Gabriel. I don't know about Mr. Gabriel, but Steve Hackett has been tearing it up this past decade, both in original material and in performing the Genesis tunes he was involved with. I wonder if he was even approached? I don't know if he would want to play the pop material that got them onto stadium tours in the first place, but I'd welcome his playing on some of those songs. Certainly could add an extra element to the Trio songs.

^They could call it the "Polishing a Turd Tour, Featuring Steve Hackett."

Don't expect any Hackett involvement, his tours are booked almost a year in advance and I know he's booked for most of 2020.
Plus the promo poster shows just Tony, Phil and Mike.
It would be nice if their tours crossed paths and Steve could sit in for one or 2 songs, now THAT would be something.

It seems it's for real this time. As one of my favourite bands and never seen them live I'm certainly excited for this, hope if this goes well they can come to Latin and South America, but that's a big stretch at this point.

But what if it's Oasis?! That would be hilarious.

Is someone going to be raising Phil’s feet for him?

Huh. They could report that the sun rises in the east and I'd still get up at dawn to check.

“Pleasure and pain can be experienced simultaneously,” she said, gently massaging my back as we listened to her Coldplay CD.

The tabloid in question, I will never click on their links/post them- I just saw it when searching for news articles. A few other media outlets have reported it now.

The dates posted above show two dates at each venue; the venues themselves appear to be showing only one date:

    16 November - Dublin 3 arena
19 Nov – Belfast SSE arena
    23 Nov – Liverpool M&S Bank arena
26 Nov – Leeds First Direct arena
    29 Nov – London O2 arena
    30 Nov – London O2 arena
    2 December – Manchester arena
    5 Dec – Birmingham arena
8 Dec – Glasgow SSE Hydro arena
11 Dec – Newcastle Utilita arena

An interesting read. What could Tony mean by this: "Nic is a great drummer, but he is capable of sounding like early Phil. For Mike and I, that was always quite exciting. It means you can play some of the songs that you haven't played with Phil as the drummer for a long time."

Huh? Was there anything they couldn't do with Chester on drums before? I find that hard to imagine.
