Is there a general number for the facility? It's unlikely they would provide much information about a patient (and for very good reasons) but perhaps they could be persuaded to pass along a general message on behalf of friends who just want to let him know he's in their thoughts.

I talked to Geeze a couple of times in early/mid July. He was doing well, post surgery, and was in physical therapy. His timetable was such that he should have returned "home" by now. He was without a computer and was having a new one built by his son. Even though that was 6 weeks ago, I imagine that once he is computer enabled again, we should be seeing some cranky sputterings from him.

His son is building the computer out of popsicle sticks, so it may still be a while before we hear from him.
It takes a lot of 'em, so he's probably still eating popsicles.

Unfortunately, I have not heard anything more. He did say when we last spoke that he intended to spend more time with his family. Hopefully, there has not been anything to further inhibit him. I'll make some inquiries.

Hey everyone, I have an update. Steve is presently in quarantine near the end of a covid infection. He of course remains at the assisted living facility. He appreciates that people still think of him and hopefully we will hear from him sometime.
