Al Doum & The Faryds' fourth LP from 2018 is a first-class Italian cocktail of Psychedelia, experimental stuff in the vein of Sun Ra, cosmically spaced electric Miles-like Jazz and just a hint of tribal. Check it out: https://aldoum.bandcamp.com/album/spirit-rejoin
The new releases are coming thick and fast! Third waxing from Dustman Dilemma:

Very promising!
Yeah, this is going to be killer.

I blame Wynton, what was the question?
There are only 10 types of people in the World, those who understand binary and those that don't.
On the lighter outer edges of Rio; the new Flairck album is really really good.

There is BASSOON on the album so that should be enough justification to post it here. Furthermore, Joris Vanvinckenroye (Aranis) is responsible for half of the compositions.
I will check this out.
Completely O/T, but in reference to BASSOON, here is my daughter's current favourite music video:
I actually dig it as well. She's only three, so extrapolating her fondness for BASSOON forwards, I'm thinking I can get her into Ut Gret by the time she's about...seven?
The Flairck sounds good, I'll buy it.

Any time any one speaks to me about any musical project, the one absolute given is "it will not make big money". [tip of the hat to HK]
"Death to false 'support the scene' prog!"

Re-listening to Blituri's sole CD from 2014 just now, I'd forgotten how good this is. Quebec still has (had) it!
The project was masterminded by Vincent Lachambre. I need to investigate what else he has done.
Yeah its very good. Of a style but does it very well.
