RIP Roy Loney of the Flamin' Groovies

Roy Loney, dynamic frontman for SF’s Flamin’ Groovies, dies at 73

Great entertainer in a great band. Rest in peace, Roy.

Sorry to hear; I have a big spot of deep fondness for the Groovies.

I only discovered the Flaming Groovies this year and became a fan instantly. Really great band. This is very sad news. RIP Roy - what a great body of work to leave as a legacy.
