Guitar player who in the early 1970s opened shows or David Bowie, King Crimson and Roxy Music. He played slide guitar on Brian Eno's Some of Them Are Old from the album Here Come the Warm Jets. From there he continued to Andy Mackay's solo album In Search of Eddie Riff and eventually ended up in the excellent super group 801.
