I like the improvisation! Very nice playing!

    Soft Place to Fall

Last summer I released a group of largely instrumental songs that range from ambient to space rock. Some of these pieces started as far back as 2010, as test tracks for me trying out a new pedal or guitar or amp, and I decided to add some parts and make it a song. The album is titled "Soft Place to Fall" and besides youtube, it's on Spotify, iTunes, Google Play, Apple Music, Deezer and other online stores.

Here is a link to the playlist, if you want to check out more pieces. There's a variety.

    Little Drummer Boy

    And another Christmas song!
I recorded this 10 years ago apparently. The file had a 2010 date. I touched up the mastering this morning. I was trying out a few new (at the time) software synths.
Note, this is not progressive rock. But then, not everything posted here is. It is electronic though.

Hi, after a long period of crazyness I created a new piece, slightly different than the other ones.

    Momentvm - Wolf 359

I'm trying to make an amalgam of rock, jazz and electronic music . What do you think?

Very Kraftwork in the beginning then perhaps a bit of Alan Parsons. Definitely an interesting soundscape but I found myself waiting for the raucous guitar solo to get it to that third level.

Sounds good, but more like the early 70s than the early 90s.

We took a simple 12 string chord sequence and developed it. We were touring all 90/91 into 92 this was a soundcheck song. Was not where we were music wise though it's clear most of us were at the very least closet proggies. Tee hee. I still produce proggy numbers when I fancy one.

Lots of things to listen to. I've got some catching up to do!

Clivey, I really dig Hello Dream. It was last in line so I'm starting there.

Here's another silly ditty I just made.

    Thanks for making this thread!

We just put out a new album in November, and it's basically everywhere. You can find several links in my signature (including one for a limited edition red vinyl copy!)

But in keeping with the title, here's soundcloud.

We're kind of an indie/alt-crossover or neo prog band I guess. Think Flower Kings meets Coheed & Cambria meets Ben Folds or Coldplay. Lol.

Here's something new in a more "Prog Rock" style. Channeling a little Neal Morse.

    Enjoy,
    Bob

Nice piece Bob. The bells give it a kind of Christmas spirit.

Merry Christmas and happy new year everyone. Even though the start was a mite rocky I think we can get through this as long as we have good music to distract us.
