    my first thought as well

Wasn't there also a Paul Williams that dabbled in JR/F??

didn't know that but vocally, this sticks relatively well... and he was part of the "crowd"

Great singer, and did an amazing job singing on the IOU material, which really can't have been easy. RIP.

Live with Juicy Lucy... in the third clip the audio is the one with the original singer of the band, Ray Owen. The pedal steel guitar player is the great Glenn Ross Campbell, who formed the band after the break-up of his fantastic psychedelic oufit The Misunderstood, who had moved from California to London in the late sixties and recorded a few well regarded singles.

^^^ Is that Isle of Wight footage? Enjoyable band & performance. I'll have to put them on the list as another vintage group I need to check out...

It appears to have been at something called the Weeley Festival, held in Essex in 1971. The Faces headlined.

A very unique and talented singer whose voice takes me right back to when my love affair with Holdsworth's music was starting to take flight.

It was one of the two (?) tracks Paul co-wrote with Holdsworth - at least that's what the information on older CD's tell.

I really love Panic Station. Actually, pretty much all of Metal Fatigue is excellent.

Two other clips with Juicy Lucy, this time from French TV, where Paul certainly seems to have predated the looks -and some of the on stage mannerisms- of the singer from The National. There are more from the band, but featuring original singer Ray Owen.
