Bummer .. I'm gonna be out of town when they come to Milwaukee. I'll probably road trip to KC to see them in August. That's okay, the Marcus Amphitheater is kinda balls anyway.

Back to the outdoor Jones Beach Theater in NY, I see. I wonder if they deliberately are not repeating any venues from the previous leg of the tour, in which they played the new Barclays Center in Brooklyn instead.
You say Mega Ultra Deluxe Special Limited Edition Extended Autographed 5-LP, 3-CD, 4-DVD, 2-BlueRay, 4-Cassette, five 8-Track, MP4 Download plus Demos, Outtakes, Booklet, T-Shirt and Guitar Pick Gold-Leafed Box Set Version like it's a bad thing...

Haven't these been announced for weeks? Anyway, i'm SOOOO Happy for NJ they are playing indoors in AC. And not playing somewhere dreadful like the amphitheater in Camden. HUGE!

I wonder if they're adjusting the set list at all.

Very cool, Grand Rapids MI added to the list. A small 12,000 seat arena with great acoustics and only 45 minutes away. I'm there for sure!

The place in AC is pretty small too. What's even cooler is that the backstage is right behind the street between Taj and Resorts casino. I've met some musicians there after shows so for the first time ever, I might have a chance to actually meet Rush.

You think Alex and Geddy will hit the casinos after the show? Know when to fold 'em, my friend.

The Ridgefield, Washington show is on the same day that we already have tickets to see a band called, "One Direction". We are taking our daughter and her friend to see them in Seattle.

Oooh, great news! I missed the shows last fall because of my annual camping trip. Jones Beach or Alantic City may be doable. I've seen them 11 times, I'd like to make it an even dozen, like a box of a dozen Tim Horton doughnuts. Oh no, I'm turning into a Canadian...

no i don't, but I do know trucks and buses will be parked outside on the side street between Taj Mahal and Resorts so there will be a slightly better chance of meeting some or all of the band than say, if they were playing, PNC or MSG

Actually Ridgefield, Washington, about 20 miles north of Portland and not too far from where I am currently living.

Bummer Chris. Sometimes we have to sacrifice for our kids.

Another good reason to go north of the border sometimes!

I've never actually had one. They do have some US shops, including in NYC. I don't eat doughnuts all that often, but I'd never turn down a Krispey Kreme. And I understand Hortons are as good. That "How I Met Your Mother" episode with Geddy makes me want to try one of theirs.

    Yep, me too.
It'll be nice to see them in an indoor venue for the first time in a long time for me.

Well, that's not saying much, unless you like your doughnuts sugar-glazed before they get their icing and sprinkles. Or if you like filled doughnuts with only about a tablespoon of filling.

Is the set list the same as the Oct/Nov tour? It actually looks like it is the same tour right?

I am guessing they'll change two or three songs, probably during the first set. (Can't imagine they'll change the second set after working out all the string parts and the multimedia).

I bet it will be the same. The didn't change a thing on the Time Machine tour for the different US/Can legs.

Timmie's took a serious nosedive in quality when they stopped making the donuts in-store and had them made at central locations. Their coffee is decent but nothing special. It's only their annual 'roll up the rim' promotion (on right now) that would entice me to go (I prefer Starbucks - not the girly drinks, mind you. Just their plain ol' coffee). Years ago Timmie's were little more than teenagers' cigarette smoke-filled hangouts (and the donuts tasted like it too). Now they fancy themselves a little soup-and-sandwich place, and I understand they're planning on going even further into the restaurant side of things. I think they should stick to what made them famous. Coffee, donuts (and Timbits ), and ugly beige uniforms.

Oh, but this is about Rush! Hooray, another tour! I might check out the Hamilton show. Would be my tenth time seeing them since Presto, and I've skipped like the last three tours.
