    Really Sad News (Geoff Downes)

    My prayers are with him

    I apologize if this was posted and I'd missed it

    MESSAGE FROM GEOFFREY DOWNES

    I am deeply grateful for all the messages of sympathy and support we have received following the tragic death of my beloved and irreplaceable youngest daughter, Alexandra.

    I will be honouring all professional commitments, but in the meantime I humbly request that my family, my loved ones and I be afforded privacy and time in which we can grieve and be as one with our thoughts.

    I presume that's just a Google Translate quirk. That article just carries the same release as elsewhere. AFAIK, she was not killed in a car accident.

    Why are you not a GD fan? It's weird that I just finished FFH and was in the middle of Drama when I saw this thread. So sorry to hear about Geoff's daughter. I hope he will go on with the tour. Btw, I dedicate tonight's listening experience to Geoff and his daughter. His is my second favorite Yes keyboardist after Rick, and I am glad that he is back with the band.

    Every parent's worst nightmare. I've watched my in-laws bury two adult sons, each from separate tragic accidents and I often wonder how they are able to carry on. If I lost my child it would probably break me.

    My thoughts go out to GD and his family.
