All of those are essential, but Silent Corner has always been tops for me. "A Louse Is Not a Home" is my choice for the greatest PH/VdGG song ever.

    I fully concur.

There are very few artists in the pop-rock genre who really deserves the "genius" label but P. Hammill is undoubtedly one of them.

Happy birthday and a long life to you P.H !

Imagine those two songs getting the remastering/remixing treatment from Wiseman and Tayler, along the lines of The Charisma Years. Mouth-watering.

I vote for Chameleon in this tight race. The stakes are kept high for every nanosecond of this incredible record. Everything in there is crucial, full of meaning.

I'll be the odd one out.

In camera is my favorite. On Silent and Chameleon the shadow of VDGG is still too much hanging over these records.
On in Camera he created his own unique solo style while maintaining the insane intensity levels. Total bliss.

Another vote for In Camera here - but then again my other favorites are Future Now, Black Box, Sitting Targets....

Love them all. I would add Fireships to that list.

I was hesitant to mention this one in a prog forum
But yes, it is also part of the list.
Also have a sweet spot for the original "Fall of the house of usher"
