Loads of fun.
If you like chess I highly recommend Feudal. You set up you armies in secret (via a divider on the board) across various terrain, protect the king in the castle, align your offence and defense and remove the divider. You can move one or all of your pieces when it's your turn. In a certain sense it can be more complicated than chess since you are forced to think in terms of multiple moves ant their implications as well as setting up a new configuration with every game. Any fans?

Trying to look up Ca Balla or whatever and found this....recall playing this game:

Cobra handling and cocaine use are a bad mix.
Yeah. I suspect that there was a backlash to this game - it can easily seem anti-Semetic, with the "Eye of Zohar" and all.
Cobra handling and cocaine use are a bad mix.
TBH, I don't play any anymore , partly because of lack of time, though I got a buddy that would like to try us on a cycling boardgame (one where you have a changing board every new play session.
I played most of the classic boardgames, including Checkers and Chess, Monopoly, Scrabble, Trivial Pursuit as a kid or teen...
But once at Uni, I got in more speciality boardgames as I had a buddy that was a total freak of those heavy war-games... Way too complicated for most casual player, so when he was around it was either Risk (relatively simple and generic) Diplomacy (love boardgames without dice and this one is a beauty, though like for Risk, you don't start the game with the same chances to win as the others) and Feudal (again no dice and a bit like Chess)
Only own Feudal and Risk anymore (plus Chess), but I'm not sure I'd say Feudal is for kids, though... Teens of my generation maybe
my music collection increased tenfolds when I switched from drug-addicts to complete nutcases.
My wife has this one.
Dark Shadows! LOL! That's funny just on the face of it.
Wake up to find out that you are the eyes of the world.
