Next Steven Wilson XTC 5.1 Remix Revealed

    And it will be:

    BLACK SEA!!!!

What a masterpiece that slab of vinyl is. Never thought Drums And Wires could be improved upon but I was wrong. So this should really be something special.

For me, Black Sea is their undisputed masterpiece among only slightly lesser masterpieces. Looking fwd to this.

“Remember, if it doesn't say "Cuneiform," it's not prog!” - THE Jed Levin

Any time any one speaks to me about any musical project, the one absolute given is "it will not make big money". [tip of the hat to HK]

"Death to false 'support the scene' prog!"

please add 'imo' wherever you like, to avoid offending those easily offended.

English Settlement is their peak for me, but Black Sea is an awesome album
Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?

This is really good news to me. To me, Black Sea is a clinic on how to write creative guitar parts. An amazing album and I look forward to hearing this in pristine hi res format. There aren't too many new remixes or hi rez re-releases left that I need to create my ultimate HI REZ music library (this work was one of the missing links).

Thanks for posting will keep a lookout for this release.
