    Not a bad triple bill!

    worded oddly?

Playing one song from each of the albums from 1969-80... To my knowledge, it's been forever since they played anything from the debut, so what could they choose ?

Survival ? Would be my preferred choice.
Looking Around ? Simpler to learn.
Or one of the covers ?

Oh, and I hadn't even realised... This also means they'll play something off "Relayer" ?!?
    Wow !

Bodes well for a tour featuring that album next year, although I have reservations about the current line-up being able to pull this off...

Aug 19 – Festival Park – Grand Victoria Casino, Elgin, IL

That's very close to playing "Ribfest". It's just a local festival park. Sad. ARW played the Chicago Theater.

Sigh. And nothing in Northern CA.
Cobra handling and cocaine use are a bad mix.

they gotta add a nor cal show in between LA and Washington can't take that many days off. with ARW playing up here on the 28th could be them then yes a few days later...

while I am excited about one song from relayer I bet they cheat and just do Soon.

so one song from the debut is the real prize. I am guessing beyond and before its the opening song of the album so works to open the show.

seems like it would make a lot of sense to go all the way to 90125 and close the main set with Owner but guess they are staying far away from Rabin tunes now with ARW a going concern?

Elgin, what the hell? That's very close to playing "Ribfest". It's just a local festival park.

Being only 15 minutes from my house, and a Saturday night maybe I'll actually go. I can probably get free tickets too.
I thought I was done seeing Yes after the 2014 tour, but this does sound interesting. Is there any shelter in case it rains?

Can't wait to see Howe and Rundgren ride the Cyclone together before the show.

They played 'Every Little Thing' in 2004.
    For that matter:

Yes - Every Little thing played in 2004
Time And A Word - Time And A Word played in 2016
The Yes Album - (eg) Starship Trooper played in 2017
Fragile - (eg) Roundabout, played in 2017
CTTE - And You And I played in 2017
Relayer - Soon played in 2015
Tales - (eg) Leaves Of Green played in 2017
GFTO - Going for the One played in 2015
Tormato - Don't Kill the whale played in 2016
Drama - All played in 2017

So rehearsels could be pretty short for this...
Still, a nice twist, but I hope when they come to Europe we will get TFTO and Relayer...

[QUOTE) while I am excited about one song from relayer I bet they cheat and just do Soon.

That would be cheating big time... just an excerpt? Having said that I don't think this lineup is up to that material. It could be the most challenging in the catalogue.

Appears, no. This is a new park they constructed just last year, never heard about it. It really just looks like a venue for a county fair, chairs, lawn and a small restroom bldg.

Would love this lineup to come to the UK, Todd and Yes on the same bill would have been my teenage self's dream gig

Those of us in the UK are going to have to put up with Yes alone doing a set of Tales and Relayer.

I read a rumor the other day Yes has already rehearsed Sound Chaser after Billy was finished with Asia.

I don't see how they can do gates just cause if they are doing a topographic song that is a lot of time spent on two tracks in a probably shorter than usual yes set. (guess they could cheat and do leaves of green from topographic though)
