Autumn Chorus - The Village To The Vale

My first post of the year and well... this was my favorite album from last year.
An amazing album that I think symph and post rock fans would love. Any fans?

    Brilliant.

I like it very much. As with (the now lamented) Chance:Risiko's Sleep Talking, this release comes out at the "indie-progressive" end of AltrOck's steadily rising roster of highly impressive output.

I love the sheer grandness of sound here; Autumn Chorus bring a whole other dimension to the greyzone between post-rock and the decidedly "progressive" aesthetic. Great performance, fine arrangements and a very detailed approach to the texture of melody. A most underrated album, IMO.
