And still no Cleveland date. Oy! I guess I'm gonna have to take an Amtrak to either Chicago or Philadelphia.

On top of Maiden the opening act is Ghost! Talk about a great double bill! I think I am going to try to hit the Chicago show.

I wouldn't mind seeing Iron Maiden. Along with BS they are probably my all time favorite metal band. Sorry Metallica.

I see they are playing the beloved, famous Jiffy Lube Live venue in Virginia. . If they were playing MSG I might try to get cheap seats - I've never seen them. Alas, they seem to be skipping New York.

Oh yeah, Metallica is way down the list for me, too. Definitely Sabbath, Maiden, Priest, and a whole truckload of bands come before Metallica in my book.

I need to get that DVD one of these days. I have a bootleg VHS of the actual TV broadcast, which I picked up several months before the DVD was even announced, never mind being released. Apparently, the DVD is a completely different video edit, I guess similar to what Pink Floyd did with the Pulse concert. I remember when it came out, a lot of people were saying the edit on the DVD was better than the live broadcast, but I think at the time, we didn't have a DVD player, so I just never picked it up. Then again, I don't have any of th esubsequent DVD's either (apart from the three History Of Iron Maiden releases, which were basically no-brainers, given that they cover the classic 80's era stuff).

Still no Cleveland date...but, they are playing in Brooklyn, maybe that's a show I could go to.

I'm going! First Maiden show in 26 years. They don't come around here much and the last time they did I was working at a certain NEARfest (which was a better bet at the time).

I am going to try and get tickets tomorrow for the phila show but I am not feeling very confident I will be able to get them without buying from a ticket agency. Are they still popular enough to sell out within a couple minutes? would they add a second show if they do sell out?

Scored tickets to the Chicago area (Tinley Park) show today. I have not seen Maiden since the “Somewhere In Time” tour a long time ago, so really looking forward to this. I am also a huge Ghost fan, so I can’t think of a better summer double bill.

Just looked at setlists off this tour - five songs from the new album! Not exactly an oldies show.

And it's good stuff too! I saw them back in Feb '16 on the first leg of this tour & was pleasantly amazed by the new material. Going to score tix for this round as well. Interested in this band Ghost.

Agree, I think "Book Of Souls" is a fantastic album. Looking forward to hearing a lot of it live.

81 dollars is the cheapest seat? I think I'll see Deep Purple and AC instead.

Actually I thought the prices for Chicago were quite reasonable. Maiden tours all over the globe, so it is not like they play the U.S. that often. They bring a huge production with them with a huge lighting rig, whatever version of Eddie they are u and a huge crew that supports it all. On top of that you get Ghost (a headliner in their own right) as the opening act. I was surprised they were under $100 to be honest. Purple tours on a much, much smaller scale, so I would expect to pay less.
