Imaginary live YES reunion now on Archives.org

This was created at the end of 2014, before the passing of Chris Squire.
Sit back, relax, enhance your mood & enjoy this imaginary 4 night YES reunion. Culled from live bootlegs throughout their musical journey. A celebration of Yes' epic masterworks, jaw dropping rock & roll, and fantastic songs. Made with love and gratitude.
    Concept: 4 nights
2 sets w/ intermission each night. At least one song from every YES studio album. Everyone who ever played live with YES shows up at some point. No encores, no extended solo spots, no repeated material in the 4 night run.
There are no set lists printed so as to enhance the element of surprise and build up through the four nights, and also the sense of being there. "What will they open with? Will they play such and such?" The excitement of one song slamming into another. Printing set lists for this would detract from the fun of coming as close as we may ever get to something like this ever happening.
Imagine any and all combinations of Yes on and off the stage together. While we're fantasizing: throw in a multimillion dollar budget for Roger Dean to wrap a design around the whole venue with projections, etc. ... and have fun!!!

Actually it already said "played live" when I posted that. I wasn't sure about Jobson, so I guess you got ME!

Having said that, I look forward to Ian Wallace's contribution from his one live show with Yes in 1968.

Neat idea. You could've limited each set to 1:19:59 though, for those of us who still listen to CDs.

Most players will play an mp3 or data disc. You can fit nights 1 & 2 on one disc and nights 3 & 4 on a second disc.
I hope that helps. Thanks for your interest.

really enjoyed this thanks for making it and posting.

loads of surprises in there I had fun making a list of songs I figured would show up and seeing how many I got right.

also got me thinking if it would be possible to do a single show where they hit every album. came up with a potential list of songs around 2 hours that could be done (probably not in chronological order)

    every little thing 5:46
    time and a word 4:31
    seen all good people 6:56
    roundabout 8:30
    and you and I 10:08
    leaves of green 5:00
    soon new edit 5:44
    wonderous stories 3:45
    don't kill the whale 3:56
    tempus fugit 5:15
owner of a lonely heart 4:27
    rhythm of love 4:47
    lift me up 6:30
    the calling 6:52
    children of light 6:03
    open your eyes 5:14
    homeworld 9:32
    magnification 7:16
fly from here part 1 6:00
    believe again 8:02
total time 124 minutes (not counting interludes intros etc)
maybe switch wonderous stories to awaken and seen all good people to starship trooper if we can push it closer to 3 hours
