Well, a 2nd hand music shop in the city has its half-price music day on the same day every year (26/11). So I took the chance to pick up some orignal pressings on vinyl for half-price (some I already have on cassette or CD):

If you haven't heard it previously, you're in for a treat; I think it's one of Mike's best! I'm happy enough with the original pressing; I try to not re-buy an album unless it's badly in need of a remix/remaster, which isn't the case here (though Mike might not agree).

Somewhat of a spotty album, but the (at least) half of it that's good is really good! I get the impression that this was Jan doing The Mahavishnu Orchestra his way.

I tend to prefer it over The first seven days. It sounds more like The Mahavishnu Orchestra, which I think is a good thing.

I love The First Seven Days, but it's a very different beast than Oh, Yeah? TFSD is closer to symph prog than it is to fusion.
