Annie Haslam - Live under Brazilian skies

Saw some other albums that looked interesting but didn't buy:
Gentle Giant - Live Rome 1974
Judging from the reviews it looks like I was right in not buying it
    The Band - Jubilation
Could be interesting, after I've read the review on Allmusic and I might buy it if I see it again
Annie Haslam's Renaissance - Blessing in diguise

Well, a 2nd hand music shop in the city has its half-price music day on the same day every year (26/11). So I took the chance to pick up some orignal pressings on vinyl for half-price (some I already have on cassette or CD):

    Supertramp - Crisis? What Crisis?
Jim Steinman - Bad for Good
Siouxsie and the Banshees - Through The Looking Glass
Black Sabbath - The Eternal Idol
    Focus - Moving Waves
Saxon - The Eagle Has Landed
    BJH -XII
Judas Priest - Point of Entry
    Genesis - The Lamb
    ELP - Tarkus
Fairport Convention - Rising For The Moon

    And on CD
Dream Theater - When Dream & Day Unite (replaces my worn out vinyl and cassette)
Jethro Tull - A Little Light Music
The Black Bible - "Cleopatra Records presents a 4 cd set of gothic, ethereal, industrial and experimental music"

All the vinyl & CDs totalled only about 50 euros.

If you haven't heard it previously, you're in for a treat; I think it's one of Mike's best! I'm happy enough with the original pressing; I try to not re-buy an album unless it's badly in need of a remix/remaster, which isn't the case here (though Mike might not agree).

Somewhat of a spotty album, but the (at least) half of it that's good is really good! I get the impression that this was Jan doing The Mahavishnu Orchestra his way.

I tend to prefer it over The first seven days. It sounds more like The Mahavishnu Orchestra, which I think is a good thing.

I love The First Seven Days, but it's a very different beast than Oh, Yeah? TFSD is closer to symph prog than it is to fusion.

Funny thing is, I'm mostly more of a symph kind of person. At least the largest part of my prog collection could be considered symph.
