Fair enough, if I was in your shoes I would feel exactly the same I know what it’s like spending your football life in the shadows of the others and putting up with mates who are full of shit about their relative success. Of course it’s just laugh-a-minute funny when they are Spurs supporting mates.

Tell them Ardiles will be back to play 5 forwards and an all out attacking style.

Tjey chose the wealthiest teams from the past whatever years. Total joke. Everton, Newcastle, and Villa have won more titles than Spurs ever. So glad this sham folded like a cheap deck of cards in 48 hours. Perez and Agnelli must be steaming right now.

That Perez loon is seriously deranged. He's still making a go at this and saying things like the other 14 clubs in England are wealthy while the big 6 suffer. Totally crazy. Reminds me of a certain guy with an orange hue.

Perez is embarrassing himself and only shining a light on the imminent financial collapse of Real and Barca. The clubs need cash money now.

Sure looks like a desperate cash grab, have the banks come calling?

Yes he sounds unhinged. He expects us all to feel sorry for their plight, but it's all fuelled by bad business decisions, paying too much for average players, putting millions and millions into the pockets of agents. I know crowd income is non-existent due to Covid, but surely they should be negotiating contracts and getting their finances on an even keel. They were in a mess pre-covid and it's all because they cannot compete with clubs backed by countries. It's a model doomed to failure, and it is clear they saw this as the only way to grab a larger slice. The rest of the pyramid has to cope, and all are struggling. It is ridiculously disingenuous to claim they are looking to save football.

Debt levels at both clubs are very excessive. Highly leveraged as they might say...

Makes sense why they are both still "in" it and living in this pipe dream.

I think Newcastle are already safe Ian, the others won’t pick up enough points to overhaul you or Burnley.

I am getting a little excited by the run in. We have Everton, Brighton, WBA and Southampton to come, and Chelsea and Leicester have a tougher run including playing each other. It is possible if we can keep the intensity we showed last night.

Cracking result for Man City in the Champions League last night, christ Paris St Germain are a terribly undisciplined petulant bunch of prima donnas. Soon as they were two goals down they looking to fight rather than play.

Newcastle toying with Leicester now 4 - 0. Wow.

  21. #671
I fancied Newcastle might shake up the odds tonight, and they have been exceptional. Opens up that top four race a little more. Leicester have a really tough run in, and confidence will be damaged.

Everton vs West Ham....EFC don't deserve to win anything further this season....its the same olde story year after year. They are shite. So congrats to West Ham up front.

Reverse psychology seems to be working. We are paying very poorly compared to the other night, I fear our CL challenge ends here.
