Keyboard guy really trying for that Rudess look.
A waste of Wooten's talent IMO.

The keyboard player is Steve Weingart, from Simon Phillips' fusion group Protocol. So is this a bunch of fusion guys wanting to score hawt chicks?
I'm holding out for the Wilson-mixed 5.1 super-duper walletbuster special anniversary extra adjectives edition.

Something from their facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/OctavisionMusic):

    Bio

Octavision is a band that was formed by guitarist and principal songwriter Hovak Alaverdyan. Founded in 2016, it features world renowned bass virtuoso Victor Wooten, keyboardist Steve Weingart, keyboardist Ara Torosyan, and drummer Roman Lomtadze.

Their debut single, entitled "Three Lives" is a three-part progressive metal piece which much like the band's style as a whole incorporates aspects of heavy metal, progressive rock, as well as ethnic musical styles and instruments.

The single will be followed up with an album in the near future.

I'll pretend that I didn't hear that, lol. Actually, I...well, attempt, to play aggressive fretless. Very bright strings, fuzz pedals...but you might still hate it!

I would tend to agree... Wooten is an excellent and accomplished bassist... but the little snippet sounded mildly interesting
Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?

haha! gotcha... to be precise. I want that bass to have fret buzz in it. And Wooten delivers in spades. More inclined towards "aggressive" fusion rather than softer/mellow segment of it.
