I think you might like Thank You Scientist. Their new album comes out on July 29th. I just preordered it now. Saw them on Cruise to the Edge and they were great! And hilarious too.

    I think you might like:

Maneige - s/t. Their first four albums are all excellent but the debut is where their classical and avant leanings got most expression.

Blituri - s/t. Current avant / chamber prog with strong influence from modern composers. Can be streamed on Bandcamp.

Karda Estra - Strange Relation. Probably the most avant-leaning album (so far) from Richard Wileman, this one in collaboration with ex-Muffins drummer Paul Sears. Hard music to describe but deeply immersive. Also streaming on Bandcamp.

Hyrrokkin - Of Pristine Origin. Turbo-charged avant rock with added free jazz horns on some tracks. Great if you like involved, non-Euclidian guitar riffage.

October Equus - Live at R.I.O. Festival 2014. I'd actually recommend pretty much any recording from OE and main man Angel Ontalva, but I think this may be the best intro to their music. Some of the most enjoyable contemporary avant-prog out there for my money. If you like this be sure to check out Angel Ontalva's Tierra Quemada album.

Oteme - Il Giardino Disincantato. Elegant, beautifully understated avant chamber rock, largely song based. Eloquent and poetic lyrics (in Italian, English translations provided). The second album is just as good.

This is often paired with Concerto for Orchestra, so you may already have that one. If not, get it.

There have been some amazing suggestions in this thread, more than enough to keep you busy but I wanted to second this one. Maneige were fantastic.
