My fav is the ending part of Entangled by Genesis
The part that starts at 4.15, it's so haunting and amazing.

Final 2 minutes or so:
Hell, they ain't even old-timey ! - Homer Stokes
Last section of Supper's
"My choice early in life was either to be a piano player in a whorehouse or a politician, and to tell the truth, there's hardly any difference"
President Harry S. Truman
Can-Utility and the Coastliners
The finale of Scheherazade by Renaissance

That's a real toughie. I'd have to say it's a tie between Supper's Ready and the Symphonic Live version of The Gates of Delerium.
at 6:15, when Holdsy starts bringing it:
no tunes, no dynamics, no nosebone
GG - "Three Friends"
Hell, they ain't even old-timey ! - Homer Stokes
? (Question Mark) by Neal Morse. the whole album is one song, but the ending is chilling.
at 2:44 into the closing section there is this haunting one note on the piano. it goes right through me!

Very tough choice......I'll go with the ending to Yes's "Awaken".
The final notes of "The Gates of Delirium." Gets me every time.
I have always loved the crescendo on this rock ballad from prog/hard rockers Omega: The Girl With The Pearl`s Hair
Yes - Soon.
most stirring chords ever

"MARKLAR!"
I love the end of "Echoes," especially live versions.
"The White Zone is for loading and unloading only. If you got to load or unload go to the White Zone!"
42:30 through to the end at 43:53. A brilliant summation to an exquisite album:
"And your little sister's immaculate virginity wings away on the bony shoulders of a young horse named George who stole surreptitiously into her geography revision."
Occasional musical musings on https://darkelffile.blogspot.com/
I love the whole piece, but the grand Moog crescendo at the end always gets me!
Confirmed Bachelors: the dramedy hit of 1883...
Always loved that striking brilliant crescendo on the last section of Hackett's "Shadow of The Hierophant". I wonder if he quoted Wagner's 'Tristan and Isolda' excerpt (iirc) on there, I'd like some Wagner expert on here to confirm that for me.
"Beethoven can write music, thank God, but he can do nothing else on earth. ". Ludwig van Beethoven
Off the top of my head, love the how Can Utility and the Coastliners ends.
Several for me.. Suppers Ready, Awaken, Ritual, Gates, Solar Musick Suite the list could go on and on
KC - "ItCotKC" ..... Mike Giles!!!
Hell, they ain't even old-timey ! - Homer Stokes
