I knew there had to be another 'You' besides Tony Banks.

    I didn't see these yet:

You Are The One - Camel/Mike & The Mechanics
More Than This -Peter Gabriel/Roxy Music
Inside and Out - Genesis/Inside Out - Phil Collins

Actually, those are almost the exact same song. Apparently, Rod The Mod wrote the song with a couple of the guys in his band, and afterwards, he realized the similarity to the Bob Zimmerman composition, so he and Bob apparently came to an agreement to share the royalties accordingly.

I do remember seeing Elton John’s “Ball and Chain” on MTV back in the day. Who was the other? XTC? Did they do a video for that one? “Senses Working Overtime” was the only one I remember seeing with regularity until “Wonderland” was released.

Tarney/Spencer Band, it was the title tune of their third album.

perhaps "(I Love You) Like a Ball and Chain" - Eurythmics - 1985
"Normal is just the average of extremes" - Gary Lessor

And then there's "Neurotica" - King Crimson and Rush ... which may have been mentioned on another thread recently

Thinking XTC is more likely; it was released as a single. Either that, or Aldo Nova:
