Just to be sure, I'm not bitching about Newton taking shots. I don't even really mind when somebody gets a shot on him and makes fun of his dance or whatever. I'm ok with his . . . let's call it enthusiasm, so if he's going to give, then he's going to get, too.

Anyway, some good games going on today. The Jax/GB game is looking like it could be a barnburner. Yes, those Jaguars.

    Congrats Cincy.

And away we go. Seattle vs. Miami. I know we're gonna lose, but I just wanna say if we have any heart.

RedZone crack! Lots of games coming down to the final minutes. Great comeback in KC.

My heart rate still hasn't come down! What a comeback and what a ballsy call by Del Rio to go for two! We're gonna need the D to show up if we want to win more than we lose though....

Congrats Yves. I was rooting for NO but whatever. Dolphins go for it on fourth and inches. We didn't get the first down but we showed some heart.

I wish they'd kick the extra point in OT, just to cover the spread... Damn Chefs! They should have pwned the Bolts!

First. Congrats to the Raiders. That was a great ending. Carr is turning into a top 10 QB.

Second, I hate how a call is "brilliant/ballsy" when it works and "blunder/bonehead" when it doesn't, when the situation is exactly the same. I think since it's almost always referred to as a bonehead move", I'd prefer calling it lucky and stupid than ballsy.

    If you catch my drift.

Regarding Cowboys/Giants, I don't want to say "same old, same old", but...the names may be different on the back but the result is the same. Dallas moves the ball great and can't score the TDs. Their defense can't withstand 4 quarters of football. I swear, I've seen this exact Boys/G-men game about 3 times already in the last few years.

    That said, Dak looks good.

No. It can be ballsy and still not work. In real time, it's ballsy. It's still ballsy if the play fails. Ballsy and brilliance do not equivocate. Balls.

He's certainly making the Jets look stupid.

We're hanging in there. That's what I wanna see. We'll lose but we didn't make it easy for them.

I took the Ravens and they made an ugly game look worse.

And we lost. If we had a better QB we'd have won. Tannihill's last year if he doesn't get us in the playoffs.

Cowboys receiver Williams gets the Dumb Ass of the Week award for turning that last reception inside, instead of getting out of bounds!

I feel like any FG attempt under 65 yards would have been made. Terrible mental breakdown there by Williams.

Belichick has probably come in his pants already, after seeing the rest of the division lost already!

Well, I won't dispute the bonehead nature of the play, but I think best he could have done was get out to the 45. I'm not saying Bailey couldn't hit a 62, but there were bigger takeaways from that game than just that play.

Anyway, positive takeaway was Dak for sure.
