That hit on Carlo was garbage, Wilson is the worst. Its like he's had a blood transfusion from Dale Hunter or something....
The inability of the league (refs and office) to dissuade Wilson from the OTT fringes of his game will only result in opposing coaches using a bench slot for a low skill / high PIM enforcer for the playoffs.

Reconnecting the NHL with ESPN should have happened a long, long time ago. Shifting to OLN/VS (remember that?)/NBCSN lowered the profile of the league in the US substantially. ABC may not be too much better than NBC overall, but at least those looking for the game will have a better idea of what channel it's on.
More hockey on free OTA TV is a win for NHL.
And NHL will be on multiple networks going forward so options increase there too.

Buffalo really is bad. They should have given Wilson a vacation a long time ago. They gave Chara a four minute minor for high sticking a player in the head, but after review he got him with his skate. How do you blow that call. I guess when you are 6'9" you can do shit like that. For some reason they had the Rangers/Flyers game on instead of the usually boring poker matches, so I caught the end of that game.
