That's okay, Boston crackled two of our starters the other night and they're out (Filipula and Eberle).

And Clutterbuck got messed up and I'm sure that Martin feels great after his pummeling by Big Z.

So yeah, you have a chance

    End of P1 -

Wow...two great plays by Weber - one to prevent the Leddy breakaway, a professional foul; the second to handle that clearing shot by Cizikas at the end of P1 that led to the powerplay goal.

Stretches of dominance by both teams.

Price v Greiss = play by play announcing issues!

So rrr-ouchful.... 4 goals in a span of 9 minutes.

Isles look terrible stumbling down the stretch, post trade deadline we've been .500 at best.

Last week the Caps gave up 3 goals in less than 2 minutes. That's called shitting the bed. I bet they dominated the rest of the game.

..and the cards get reshuffled in the East wild card race. This is going to come down to the wire. Habs need a little breathing space because their last 3 opponents are Bolts, Caps, Leafs...

Somehow I had forgotten that Ottawa did not have their 1st round pick...sheesh!

The Avalanche could make the playoffs and get Hughes? Well done indeed.

Head to head in the regular season is the tiebreaker. Of course, if you had gotten one more SOG there wouldn't have been a tie...

you always find a way to get me! I like the head to head tiebreaker best...it's the most fair. Good luck...Kirk has a strong line-up.

Really needed this weekends two wins after back to back games being shutout. And not exactly lighting it up since the JT beatdown. I think the conditioning coach should be up for a huge raise because the Isles are something like 12-1 on the back end of back to back games.

    Gah! Stoopid Cindy's...winning 3 in a row...

While it is a well known unsubstantiated conspiracy theory that the NHL does not want Caps / Cindy's in round 1 [emoji848] the final 7 games (6 for Cindy's) are to avoid each other in round 1.

If Isles didn't win Metro I think Caps are a better matchup for Round 1.

Big game for CBJ vs Isles tonight. While they're currently 9th, they have two games in hand on Habs and 'Canes, and as such CBJ has slightly higher probability for playoffs than either the others.

CBJ and Canes have both played 75 games, Habs have played 76. All 3 teams seem to be playing a lot of the same teams to end the season. Nobody has a very easy schedule. The playoffs are now!

Tomorrow it comes to a head. Habs have to absolutely win that game and get a 4-point cushion since we have the toughest remaining schedule afterwards: @WPG, TB, @WASH, TOR.

...wow...that's definitely a 4some of hurt . They are all in the dance though so that could play in your favor. Colombus' last 2 games are against Ottawa and us

I don't foresee anyone resting guys, except maybe the Leafs on the final Saturday. Will it matter at that point? We will need you and the Sens to play spoilers! But of course it begins with tomorrow. If CBJ wins, they overtake us, and when you compare our schedules, they probably win out. Canes have been up and down though. I did not look at their schedule.

Habs looked highly motivated last night, Florida not so much. On another channel, Buffalo and Ottawa were going through the motions. That game was unwatchable.

Yves, here's my suggestion: The Bolts don't care if they play the Habs or the BJs in the first round, so, we let you score 6 goals in the upcoming game to win and get your valuable two points, but you let Kuch get 4 or 5 points to secure the Art Ross in return. Deal?

Geeze...could the Red Wings pick a worse time to start winning? Plain stupid.

I was channel surfing the high channels last week and didn't realize I had Southpark on one of the channels. I caught the end of the show where the Redwings were playing the pee wee kids for the Stanley Cup. It was brutal.
