First (official) show should be underway now; friends and family performance last night.
"Henry Cow always wanted to push itself, so sometimes we would write music that we couldn't actually play – I found that very encouraging." - Lindsay Cooper, 1998

Only a couple of weeks before the pair of gigs I didn't think I'd see. Quite excited.

I'm still holding out for a more complete recording of the shows from last year.. I found the live album they released quite underwhelming. Aside from being short, the mix was very strange - didn't really reflect how it sounded to me at the venue. The monster box set will come along inevitable..

I do wonder where the three new tracks are. They seem to be missing. Does anyone know if they were played, or is the set correct?

I need to see them. Again. Once in 2014 wasn't enough.

Does "new" necessarily mean "new"? Based on how they classified "new" last year - Easy Money, In the Court and Epitaph may well be the new tracks you're waiting for...

^ I don't think so. According to RF, there are three new group pieces: Radical Action (To Unseat The Hold Of Monkey Mind), Meltdown, and Suitable Grounds For The Blues. I'm very excited for some of the old tracks they have brought back, though!

    Cheers!

    Were you there Ancient?

According to Pat at TOAPP Radical and Meltdown are the same track, one serving as an intro...

That said something seems odd to me with that set...they have about 3 hours worth of rehearsed material according to Jakko...maybe it's just A out of E of them or something.

No, I got the info from set-list FM (link-above). I wish I was there to see and hear the show! And remember, on last years North American tour, KC did mix up the set list on different nights. I was at the second L.A. show where they played Pictures of a City, instead of One More Red Nightmare. If I'd had my way, both would have been performed that night. Again, I just hope some official recordings come out of this current tour. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Well, they are going to Japan, which has proven to be one of Fripp's most favoritest places to produce concert recordings.
I'm holding out for the Wilson-mixed 5.1 super-duper walletbuster special anniversary extra adjectives edition.

Well the set list posted in post #6 bears very little relationship to what is now up on setlist.fm here...which is right?

Looking at the comments, I think further revisions are likely!

The set in this thread bears no resemblance to what was played last night. The FM set list is (I think) correct except that they also played 'A Sailor's Tale' after 'The Letters'. I know, coz I was there...

I'm seeing them on the 14th in Birmingham but am tempted to see them tonight in Aylesbury, I see a few decent stall seats have popped up but they are in pairs and they won't split them...

Yes, that was the correct set from last night. The 'Interlude' was actually a drum-off...
