This is some very nice stuff, indeed!

Add me to those who would appreciate a CD release.

buy the LP, burn it to CDR and have the best of both worlds!
the fantastic presence that only LPs can deliver, with the convenience of being able to throw a CDR around in the car (or wherever one likes to abuse their discs)
Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?

I feel that most of the problem with modern recordings lies in the 100% digital fail

thank you for your efforts and sacrifice

Yes. I was referring to his order of Hofffoot + the new Agusa (Tva). Both of these made my list, but I preferred the first Agusa to their second release. Sorry if I was unclear with my post.

    Apparently, this is a vinyl-only release!! wall.gif

If so, it'll be without me, then!!

Don't need their music that bad.

Yup, like Hooffoot sells enough worldwide to actually snob CD buyers...

But "CD-buyers" seem to have resorted to minority circuits all the same these past years, so it kind of levels out. It's not instinctively more logical or natural when choosing a release medium that this should necessarily be the Compact Disc - as people have long since stopped buying those in the first place.

I am not demanding anything, I am only kindly hoping for the eventual cd release. If that does not happen, well there is lots of other music to listen.

I think that in this and related ("serious") genres, there are still many CD buyers, still more than there are vinyl consumers.

True, and I agree that artists should pay attention to that. Take the wonderful new Needlepoint, for instance; they manufactured a CD to go with the first 500 LPs.

They still sell 100 CDs for every vinyl sold. And CDs are cheaper to manufacture too and less expensive to ship.

As if Hooffoot could afford not to press CDs (even Aquaserge came to their senses after 10 months)

No I think its a principle, you can see in the live footage they all have beards - they are hipsters

Well, until further notice they apparently can afford just that.

Rumour has it that they in fact *ARE* going to produce a very nice compact disc rendition, only problem is that it's supposed to come in a stupid, tall pointy hat with fart stench all over it which unfortunately demands that you wear it for antennae effect while channelling the CD. Without the hat, there's no CD sound to be had. Do you still insist on getting that?!

Just what do you expect from bearded hipsters recording their stuff at a plant they actually have named 'The Aeresol Grey Machine'?!

It's vinyl AND every download format one could possibly want (including lossless if you want CD quality) on their bandcamp site. No manufacturing, handling or postage costs which is cheaper for everyone.
